Tis the season! I'm so grateful for many things this year....Charley and my 2 boys, my health, my family and friends, but I most grateful for the birth of our Lord and Savior! Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

For over a month now, I have had a huge secret from my mom. We surprised her with all of my girl cousins and aunts and went to the Rockette's! She was more than excited and overjoyed. We all dolled up and enjoyed a fabulous night! I love them all so much and it was a very special memory made this weekend.

This year we celebrated Charley's birthday at III Forks. What an amazing restaurant! Then the next day we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Dallas Cowboys! They even pulled off a win for us :) Tank had fun with his little friend Dobby. Aren't they so cute!!

After 5 months, Tank and Max still don't get along. Don't know what to do? Tank thinks that Max is a furry toy and Max thinks Tank is well.....annoying. Maybe one of these days, they can learn to be friends??

Cowboy Game

We had a great time at the cowboys game Sunday. The new stadium is undescribable. We are looking forward to many, many games. (hopefully next time there will be a win though)

My Growing Tankster

Tank and I ventured to the park today for the 1st time.....we had a BLAST! It was everything I had imagined, fetch with a stick, walking, and beautiful weather. Take a look at my sweet, BIG boy.....

4th of July Night

We had a great time shakin' our booties to some disco last night at the Glass Cactus. It was a great time, but very, very HOT!!!! I don't think we cooled down all night. The fireworks were beautiful over the lake. I'm so glad to have shared it with Charley. In 6 years at the fire dept, this was only his 2nd 4th of July off, so we took full advantage :) And I couldn't have done it without my dance partner Ginger! Good times...

We have a tradition here at the Scamperino house on the 4th of July. Max wears his little american hat, we get a picture and sing patriotic songs. It's so funny to see him! Well, this year we had a few helpers.....

A Happy Heart!

I have a VERY happy heart today. Charley and I decided to our boy :) I guess we will be stocking up on benadryl. I mean look at those sweet innocent eyes......

A Broken Heart

My heart is broken. After many, many conversations, tears, lists, ect....we are looking for a new loving home for Tank. We were not able to adjust to him. Please let me know if you or anyone you know is looking for an adorable, precious puppy. It makes me sad to have to blog today :(

We are all adjusting still to our new life with Tank. Charley believes he is allergic to Tank. At first, he was sure we would have to get rid of him. After a few tears and sweet puppy eyes, he is trying to adjust. We love our new addition to our family so much. He keeps us on our toes, literally! He can already 'sit' and 'come' on command, and working on the 'fetch' and 'stay'. (about 50%) Potty training is going well, some days are better than others, but overall good. I'm sure there will be many, many posts and pictures of him.

Let's NOT forget about my first love.....MAX!!! He has come so far with the adjustment. He knows now that Tank is here to stay and can't get on the couch, HA! Max hangs out with us most of the time snoozing. He even will eat by Tank! My hearts still melts when snuggles with me each night :)
